Tanchangya peoples are religiously Buddhists and observing religious rites such as worshiping Gautom Buddha and listening Buddha sermons. Tanchangyas also maintains the kathino chivar dan, Buddha purnima, maghi purnima etc. They have a minimum of Buddhists in their own localities .
